Decebmer 2008 Spotlight -
Foundation for the International Medical Relief of Children
establishes healthcare centers in underserved areas throughout
the world. These facilities serve as a center for healthcare
administration to the children in the community, and as a base
for our health education programs that serve to improve basic
knowledge about the normal functioning body and about common
diseases. FIMRC's micro-health insurance program in El
Salvador and Uganda have created a helping presence in rural and
impoverished areas. Every time a family gets a check-up at our
clinic or comes for information, points are accounted to that
family. These points earn them health benefits they would not be
able to afford otherwise.
